BRM Chronographes announced as Will Palmer's official timing partner
Luxury watch-maker BRM Chronographes has joined forces with Will
Palmer to become the 18-year-old's official timing partner
following the most recent trio of Duo BRDC Formula 4 races, held at
Brands Hatch (1/2 August).
The BRDC Rising Star will sport one of BRM's hand-crafted watches
every race weekend, and a limited edition 'Will Palmer' timepiece
will be manufactured to mark the partnership. The BRM Chronographes
logo will be displayed prominently on the Duo BRDC Formula 4
Championship leader's crash helmet, overalls, car and official
website.
The BRM brand derives its passion and inspiration for watch-making
from motorsport, with its unique timepieces crafted to the highest
standards of mechanical performance, precision and quality in the
French manufacturers workshop located just outside of Paris.
The company's mission statement, "From the excellence of detail,
performance begins", is synonymous with racing and reflects the
same philosophy that has seen Will cement his reputation as one of
the most exciting young prospects in British motorsport.
Will said: "I am very happy that BRM Chronographes approached me
to become one of their ambassadors. As a watch-maker who is
passionate about motorsport, I'm really pleased to announce they
will be my official timing partner as I continue to fight for the
2015 BRDC Formula 4 title. I cannot wait to see the limited edition
timepiece they produce, and I look forward to this being the start
of a successful partnership together."
Bernard Richards of BRM Chronographes said: "It is superb to work
with such a talented young driver. Will is sure to be the perfect
ambassador for BRM Chronographes as he is passionate about
motorsport and watches too. He has a bright future ahead of him in
racing and we are glad to be able to support him, and very happy to
have him in the BRM club."
